With the summer season behind us, the Pacific Science Center in Seattle kicks off the new autumn season with their Ancient Egypt Distinguished Speakers Lecture Series. Each week, beginning in early October, a new speaker will engage their audience in discussions on fascinating topics about Ancient Egypt and some of the newest discoveries using the latest tools available. Among the speakers, AERA Director Dr. Mark Lehner.
Dr. Lehner’s lecture, The Lost City Of The Pyramids: An Adventure Of Discovery, will review the recent work of AERA and illustrate its latest findings on the everyday life of the pyramid builders, or “software” within the gigantic mainframe of the Lost City of the Pyramids. The lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 at 7:30pm.
All lectures in the series will be held at:
Seattle Town Hall
1119 8th Avenue
Seattle, WA 98101
